Goals
International
Children Aid Refuge and Education (ICARE) Network
has been launched to provide quality care and education
for children at risk in a home like environment.
Origins
ICARE
network started with Elim Family Worship Centre in
Peterborough wanting to make children at risk its
special mission. Elim is a part of the Apostolic Church
in Canada, which has had a long history of world wide
missions activity. The local church body sponsored
the building of a children’s home in India,
which is just now receiving children into its care.
In 2005 we are launching a children’s home in
Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean. In 2006
our goal is to open children’s homes in AIDS
ravaged Zambia. We are linking these and other future
projects together under the banner of ICARE Network.
